THE 1940 COVENTRY BLITZ : ADAM NEALE

On the night of 14 November 1940 the biggest air raid in history began. Bombs began to fall on one of the oldest cities in England. Learn what really happened: was it preventable? And hear of the heroic struggles and real life testimonies of people who were there as the city burned.

Adam Neale is Manager of the Blitz Musuem at Coventry Cathedral, and has been studying the rise and fall of the Third Reich for over thirty years. He regularly takes trips to mainland Europe, visiting World War II sites − even standing on the exact spot where Hitler’s body was burned in Berlin. He lectures weekly at the museum, and takes delight in presenting the facts that debunk the famous rumours regarding the Blitz.
